Authors are invited to submit a short abstract (max. 250 words). All abstracts must be submitted through the conference presentation portal the abstract should reflect the conference theme ‘The Nature of Acoustics.’


10 JUNE 2022 | Abstract Submissions Close

24 JUNE 2022 | Authors Notified of Abstract Status, Following Review

Authors should register to attend the conference, once their abstract has been accepted, to ensure they receive the early registration discount. All accepted abstracts are required to be developed into a conference paper for presentation.

The full paper should be no more than 10 pages long and should follow the instructions for layout and format provided by the Full Paper Template. All authors must use the Full Paper Template to format their final paper.

Authors will upload their full paper through the Presentation Portal - the link back to your portal can be found in your acceptance email.

29 JULY 2022 | Peer-Reviewed Papers Due

Peer-reviewed papers must submitted by 29 July.

16 SEPTEMBER 2022 | Non-Peer-Reviewed Papers Due

Non Peer-Reviewed papers must be submitted by 16 September.

  • At least one author must present this work in person at the conference.

  • The presenting author will be required to register for the Conference to ensure their abstract(s) is included in the final programme. The deadline for presenting author registration is 23 Sept 2022. Similarly, no speaker fee is paid to authors or presenters.

  • It is the responsibility of the submitting author to ensure the accuracy of the content, spelling, grammar and formatting of the abstract, as it will be published as it is submitted.

  • By submitting an abstract, you grant the Organising Committee permission to publish the abstract in the Conference proceedings in hard copy and/or electronic format.
